WHO DOES WHAT

Three roles you may meet
before, during and after treatment

Ultrasound and imaging staff

They perform the vein and artery ultrasound your physician reviews to decide whether a minimally invasive procedure will help you, and to confirm when it will not. That imaging is what turns a symptom into a diagnosis.

Physician liaison

They connect our clinics with referring physicians across metro Atlanta, including PCPs, OB/GYNs, urologists, podiatrists, and other specialists, helping referrals move quickly and ensuring your records are in place before your visit.

Practice operations

Our practice managers and front office team handle scheduling, insurance verification and benefits estimates, and they are the people to ask when something about your visit needs sorting out.

Common questions

Questions patients ask about our team

Who will I actually see at my appointment?

Usually three people: a front office team member who checks you in and confirms your benefits, a clinical staff member who performs your ultrasound, and a provider, either a physician or a physician assistant, who reviews the results with you. If you go on to have a procedure, it is performed by a board-certified interventional radiologist.

What does the ultrasound at my visit actually do?

Vein and artery ultrasound shows your physician where blood is flowing, where it is not, and which vessel is behind your symptoms. It is how we confirm whether a minimally invasive procedure will help you, and it is done in the same clinic as the rest of your care.

What does a physician liaison do?

Our liaisons are the connection between Georgia Endovascular and the referring practices across metro Atlanta. They make sure your referring physician knows what we treat, that your records reach us before your appointment does, and that your primary doctor gets a summary after your procedure. Your routine care stays with the physician you already see.

Who do I call about billing, insurance or rescheduling?

Call the clinic nearest you and our practice operations team will handle it. They verify benefits, explain what your plan covers, provide written estimates before you are scheduled, and manage appointment changes.

Where can I find all of the doctors and physician assistants?

On our providers page, which lists both interventional radiologists and the physician assistants who see patients alongside them, with full bios and clinic locations.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, at all three clinics. Most patients do not need a referral, and we accept Medicare and most major commercial plans.
