Michaela Allen, PA-C, is a South Carolina native with a love of life-long learning. She received her Bachelor of Science in exercise and sports science at Coastal Carolina University. Very briefly, she attended South Carolina State University for post-baccalaureate benefit.
She then became a Georgia peach and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the illustrious Morehouse School of Medicine in metropolitan Atlanta. She is currently a Doctor of Medical Science student at Shenandoah University. Through this program, she is eager to expand her skills in leadership, clinical research, and education.

Residing in South Atlanta, Michaela prioritizes family time, identifying as a wife and a girl mom. Outside of work, she enjoys HIIT and cycling group fitness classes, traveling the world, and (depending on the year) cheering for her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Alyssa is a compassionate healthcare provider dedicated to enhancing patient well-being. Though originally from Jacksonville, Alyssa's heart belongs to Georgia, where she was raised and intends to stay. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the esteemed University of Georgia. She then pursues her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Lincoln Memorial University School of Medical Science, graduating summa cum laude.
With a foundation in emergency medicine and urgent care experience, Alyssa has developed a keen interest in the management of vascular diseases. Alyssa's commitment to patient care shines through in every interaction as she strives to provide the highest quality of care.
When she's not caring for patients, Alyssa resides in West Midtown with her husband, cherishing moments with loved ones and exploring the vibrant culture and cuisine of the city. An avid traveler and Georgia Bulldogs enthusiast, Alyssa's fondest memories include journeys to Egypt with her aunt and a memorable three-week exploration of Italy with her husband.
Our physicians are board-certified, fellowship-trained interventional radiologists who both treat all nine conditions. The doctor who reviews your imaging is the same doctor who performs your procedure and sees you at follow-up.
Treatment happens through an access point about the width of a pen tip, using live imaging. That means local anesthetic instead of general anesthesia, less downtime, and for most patients, going home the same day.

Yes. Both physicians are board-certified in vascular and interventional radiology and fellowship-trained. Dr. Sheth is board-certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Vascular & Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, and Dr. Lie is dual board-certified. Every procedure is performed by one of them, in our own outpatient clinics.
Either. Both physicians perform the full range of embolization and vascular procedures, so the choice is usually about location and schedule rather than specialty. Tell us your symptoms and the clinic closest to you, and we will match you.
Often both. A physician assistant may handle your initial consultation, your ultrasound evaluation and your follow-up visits, working directly with your physician. Your procedure itself is always performed by a board-certified interventional radiologist.
No referral is needed for most patients. You can request an appointment directly, and our benefits team will verify your coverage before you are scheduled. If your primary care physician or specialist wants to send records ahead, we will coordinate with their office.
Yes. Tell our scheduling team which physician you would like to see and they will find the next available appointment with that doctor at the clinic you prefer.
We listen, examine, and use imaging when it is needed, usually in the same visit. You leave knowing what is causing your symptoms and what your options are. Nothing is scheduled that day unless you want it to be.
An interventional radiologist is a physician who performs minimally invasive procedures guided by live imaging. Rather than opening the body to reach a problem, they thread a thin catheter through a pinhole in the wrist or groin and treat the target vessel directly. The Society of Interventional Radiology describes these procedures as treatment for conditions that once required open surgery.
